Streatfield House

Streatfeild House is a family-owned, 22-bed Learning Disability care home that is managed by LWT Health Care Limited.  Situated in a residential area in the seaside town of St. Leonard’s on Sea, Streatfeild House has good transport links to Hastings town center and other popular local venues. The home has been providing care and support for adults with learning disabilities and or dementia for over 40 years.

Streatfeild House is led by an expert management team consisting of manager Charli Hicks, deputy manager Sam Morton, and support providers.  Together, we endeavor to create a warm and welcoming care home where our residents receive the kind of high-quality and personalized care that would be fit for each individual. We consider our staff to be the backbone of the home and we pride ourselves on having an outstanding, kind, and exceptionally hardworking team.  We run a 24-hour service that ensures residents are safe, secure, and cared for at all times.  Together, our team works incredibly hard to achieve excellence in all areas and to comply with fundamental standards.  We are a united workforce, who are whole-heartedly devoted to going above and beyond our normal duty of care to ensure your loved ones are comfortable, happy, and living life with dignity.

Charli Hicks

Charli is the Registered Manager of Streatfield House and is the lead for care coordination. This is the perfect role for him due to his warm, caring nature that he uses to deliver outstanding care.

Dr. Anne Thomas
Clinical Lead / Director

Dr Thomas is a GP who runs 3 care homes in South East England. She has a passion for social care and thrives to ensure the quality of care and comfort at her care homes bring positivity to the care industry. She has won many awards for her leadership and management skills in social and health care and has been an immense example to women who want to have and do it all. Dr Thomas has a passion for incorporating user friendly technology into care homes to make care home management safer and more efficient. Overall, she is simply inspirational!

Abbie Thomas
Activities Coordinator

Abbie is a dedicated member of the team, having worked at Streatfield for 16 years. She has a real passion for making a difference to individuals lives and their quality of life, Providing activities that are meaningful, person centered and tailored to the individuals needs whilst promoting their independence, supporting them to set goals and achieve. She has recently completed a level 4 diploma as a Lead Practitioner. Abbie says “I feel privileged to be able to truthfully say I love my job, I’m fortunate enough to be in role which enables me to enhance and enrich the lives of others whilst enriching mine”
